Is this game worth it?

I have read some reviews that say it is buggy as hell. Is this true?

I'm wanting to get it, but will be pissed if it is, and doesn't have a patch.

This is an excellent RPG.

Yes, it's worth it , there is a patch on sierra's site that fixes up a lot of bugs so i'd say go buy it , or u'll miss a great RPG

At this point, save your money and wait for Greyhawk: Temple Of Elemental Evil. That will be a real CRPG. It will be turn based and have no multi-player capability. Arcanum is a realtime game with a horrible combat system. The story is good and the plot holds one's attention, however, the sad truth is that Troika sold out and produced a hybrid monstosity which has no real replay value due to the pathetic combat system.
