Armored Vault Suit?

I've managed to get the programs and open frms, all right. But I'm not there yet: in short, what I need is a way to put a combat helmet, arms and backpack into a tesla armor and make it 'metalish'. I can't open the FRMs with MSpaint, and I have no idea how photoshop works (I don't even have it)

Unpack the .dat files to a directory of your choice and then use frm animator to open them. Save as another frame and it will save all the animation frames as .bmp files, which can be opened by just about everything.
 
I'll give it my best shot, but I must admit that the little time I have won't be fully used for modding, and that is IF I succeed...

... my idea for the Tesla Armor is basically a metalish Combat Armor with spikes (tesla coil rods) on the shoulder, probably without the helmet.

As my armored vault suit, it'd be easy enough to make that for an NPC, but a lot of time and resources to making it for the PC.

Heh. I wouldn't start unless I had at least one frame correct, and I don't have that, yet. Time's at a premium over the next month or two, anyway, so it'd be awhile before I did anything except play New Vegas.

Reminds me an suit made by Ultravox, he started a metallic-jumpsiut , a long time ago...

If you want to make a new armored suit, use metal armor parts.
