What i meant was that Baldurs gate was a) Too limited in what you could do and b) Not very stylish.

Although I didn't like Baldur's Gate much I disagree with you on it not being stylish. It looks sweet and the atmospheric sounds in it are great. What put me off to the game was indeed the limited gameplay and the lame storyline. Still, I do believe that at this time there are no Baldur's Gate clones. Planescape: Torment uses the same engine, but it's nothing like BG. Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale aren't out yet, so I can't really judge those. Were there any other games you though of as BG clones?
