Batman: Arkham Insurgency leak

Eh, I never really cared for the series.

I guess Arkham Asylum was fun, but I only played a but of it.

It really got out of hand fast and it just became another endless IP.

This series has directed action game trends in a pretty major way, the attacking an endless array of mooks that never had a chance one by one, making combat more trivial than in Super Mario. Let's see if people or even themselves move on.

It's also immensely fun combat.

:)

Hopefully it'll be better than Arkham Shite. Fighting Deathstroke in a tank, seriously what the fuck were they thinking?

Also for the record, criticizing Arkham's combat kinda misses the fucking point. It's not deep, balanced or challenging. It was designed to make the player feel like Batman which it most certainly succeeds at.

Doesn't mean it's good.

Get in line, people!

I just can't goddamn wait for you to play Dark Souls. Not comparing, I'm just dead curious.

Pff the Person in that video is playing really shit, probably on easy too and with the visual prompts active. What a noob.

Well, if it's a prequel it means it won't be under the skid mark that was Arkham Knight. Origins was better than city anyway, but Asylum was a more cohesive and well paced experience.

Arkham Knight lost me. The first two were great. Why make another one now? Why not use a different hero with the same engine? Just spitballing here but Watchman could work.

They did actually.

It was a pretty good game actually. Lots of obscure Captain America lore and basically was what you got if you combined Arkham Asylum with Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Which isn't a bad thing.

Often times they will seek out developers for projects like that. It's the fact that DC doesn't want to do anything but Batman. Look at the Lego Batman movie. Batman VS Superman. Another upcoming Batman movie. I'm surprised Batman isn't sitting behind me right now. He is everywhere. Like fucking Iron Man.

They also keep making Batman cartoons. And by mandate of WB, Young Justice had to include Batman at least in a bigger support role than other superheroes.

But no it's just the rights amirite?

It can't be that DC has no heroes worth using. That actually might be it. They can use Uncle Sam ironically. :)

Teen Titans is a good one I guess.

Young Justice did a great job at using other more obscure characters, it was just that Batman had to pop in his head every episode so the WB ties wouldn't get an Ulcera.
