Beneath the Mask Unveiled

Hurrah, buy Snorth's book! buy it! buy it! Sadly, I can't afford one myself (I costs a heckload of money to ship it to Norway), but some day I will, and then Snorth's book will be in my hands

You still owe me that wild boar damn it :x
although if you return to NWS I will renounce my claim

Kahgan...

Go throw a fish net for a couple of hours or make some shoes out of wood or whatever the hell people do for money in Norway...Just kidding dude, go rob an old lady of thirty "crotchkies" or whatever your money is called and order up the book.

Yes, I did read it for free but I will have to pay if I want one with a cover.

B& for double posting.

I try to read as many books as I can, but sometimes I get lazy. But I'll pick up your book, SNorth, when it comes out onto store shelves. Hope it does well, for your sake.

It's a long road after you write a book just trying to get published. At any number of points it would be easy to just give up. Fortunately, I have what I believe Stephen King terms 'the gotta.' I'm not happy unless I'm writing. The next book (not a sequel) is 140 pages long now and I've only been working on it since the New Year. My hope is to escape my mundane job and write full time, but I will continue to write whether that happens or not. I have no less than six ideas already on the story board. I appreciate the well wishing, and hopefully I won't disappoint any of you.

Well it would seem the little add in my sig paid off

Anyway, yes the book is written in first person, which is different to most books, but not unheard off. One reason you dont see a lot of books in the first person is that its hard to do it right.

That being said I've read a couple of books in the first person, and I admit the first couple of pages feel weird, but then you get used to it and it's acutally quite enjoyable.

For the record the stories i've read were written by Larry Niven (he also wrote Ringworld, and is considered on paa with Frank Herbert) and Andre Norton (I think?) and the style was no better than SNorths.

Good to see you nightstalker, whats up mate? Care to re-join MR?
