hehe of course Mel Gibson...

and also even though the movie was subpar, I would say Patrick Swayze in Steel Dawn. That guy looked cool in post-apoc.

A little older and Sigourney Weaver would be perfect...

But only if you are a fan of the Alien series, or at least the first two.
 
I saw a post-apoc movie a while back (not Mad Max) on Movie Plex. I can't remember the title but it was about four guys, a kid, and a lady trying to get to New York because they got radio signals from there awhile back. The movie looked like it was made around the late 70's early 80's. I was flipping through channels then saw a nuclear explosion, the credits began rolling, and bam, a guy on a dirt bike, racing through the desert, trying to get a blow-up doll to his post but was cornered by radscorpions. He lost the blow-up doll.

Anyhow, best actor for an apoc movie-

I'd say either Eric Bana, the young Slyvester Stallone, or the young Mel Gibson.

Best actress for an apoc movie-

Either Estella Warren, Demi Moore, or Milla Jovovich.

The idea of a pack of sex starved mutant scorpions raiding nuclear survivors to loot blow-up dolls sounds like it's either from a Monty Python sketch or from the main plot in FO:POS

Anyways, my fav character is the feral kind in MadMax 2:RW, who manages to chop off the raider's herald fingers off with a boomerang :twisted:
