Bethesda European merchandise store launched

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
While pretty bare as of now, Bethesda has announced the launch of a European store for merchandise through a partnership with Level Up Wear. For now it looks like just a bunch of pre-orders for t-shirts with some very standard designs, but it's apparently going to expand in the future:
LEVEL UP WEAR ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH BETHESDA SOFTWORKS®

Clothing Lines and Merchandise for The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Dishonored and The Evil Within Now Available for Pre-Order in Europe

Brussels, Belgium – September 25, 2013 – Level Up Wear (lvlp), a premium apparel and merchandising brand focusing exclusively on officially licensed videogame-based designs, today announced a 3-year European licensing agreement with Bethesda Softworks. Level Up Wear’s first collection of apparel and merchandise based on the Bethesda catalogue of games is available for pre-order today on lvlp’s European store: http://bethesda.levelupwear.com. Items will become available on October 15th. The retail release of these items will follow suit, hitting stores across Europe this autumn.

The initial lineup of products, which includes items such as t-shirts, hoodies, bags, wallets and mobile cases, are based on the best-selling Elder Scrolls®, Fallout®, DOOM® and Dishonored® franchises, as well as Bethesda’s 2014 games – The Elder Scrolls® Online, Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ and The Evil Within™. New merchandise, as well as limited edition items, will be added to the store regularly.

“The Bethesda catalogue of games includes some of the most beloved franchises in gaming history, both classic and modern. We are extremely honored and excited by this opportunity and are creating a diverse product line that will appeal to hardcore and casual gamers alike,” says Dimitri van Eetvelde, Managing Director at Level Up Wear.

After a successful collaboration with Bethesda at GamesCom, Level Up Wear will be running a Bethesda fan shop at Eurogamer Expo later this week. The lvlp booth, which will carry a range of new Bethesda items, can be found next to Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls Online booth.

So they own now an IP full of all sorts of cool looking creatures, armors, weapons and characters.... and their merch is just "VAULT 101" pasted on Blue t-shirts and sweaters? All the money they spend in marketing and they just never ever think about releasing a damn figurine, official replicas or anything?

Release a Corvo statue, I would buy that in heartbeat. A replica of the mask, I would hang that on the wall. A little set of New Vegas companion figurines.

Because seriously who even wears gaming t-shirt aside from using them for pijamas?

I agree.

I really don't see any logic behind what Beth is doing.
Release a Power Armor figurine, you'll sell a fuckton of them. 101 sports shoes? Wtf?

And yes, this shirts have a really shitty design. I could make an exactly same thing for half the price, maybe even less. It wouldn't have a Bethesda label on it, but who cares?

Someone at my local games club uses one as a W40k Imperial statue, it still suffers from the small feet and nonsensical shoulder guards the ingame one does. Now an old fashioned Enclave figurine...
