Bethesda Lies Repository

See, I don't get this.
Dishonored was published by Bethesda Softworks.
Bethesda Game Studios are the ones that make Fallout and TES.
Can we really judge the publisher (BethSoft) for the quality of writing for two different games?
I'd say that judging the product, and the product only, seems like the reasonable thing to do. But then again, it's a bit hard, and I'm the first to be guilty of not doing it. As much as I think I'm neutral towards Bethesda/Obsidian (I pre ordered Fallout 4, and even after the desillusion, I pre-ordered Dishonored 2, so hard to accuse me of bias), I know that I'll buy everything that comes out of CD red Project or Frictional Games without taking much attention to the critics, so... but we gotta try, at least, to focus on the product and the product only.
Bethesda has proven that it can easily produce excellent written titles. Just like any company. Doesn't really matters on who makes it, it depends on why they make it, how long they'll make it, with who, for who etc.

I really hope Frictional follows the path they took with SOMA, basically story focus and not appealing to overreacting streamers and shit fan fiction/copycats.

Far Harbour's landmass is bigger than any other Bethesda's DLC landmass including Shivering Isles (the biggest of previous DLCs).

Todd's words in an IGN interview:
In this first run [of DLC], Far Harbor is the largest. But, we kind of priced that based on what we've done before so you can look at Far Harbor and say 'Well, even though the land mass is bigger, it doesn't have as much content as Shivering Isles - which was $30- but it has more than Dawnguard, which was $20,'

Pete Hines lying:
Someone:
On a scale of Pitt to Shimmering Isles how big will Far Harbor be? You said biggest, but the isles were just... so awesome.
Pete Hines:
it's bigger in size than Shivering Isles. I asked.

Proof it's a lie
The pics here shows that Far Harbour's landmass is around 3/4 of Shivering Isles land mass:

Fallout 4 will not have a FPS cap for PC:
Fallout 4 is 1080p & 30fps on Xbox One and PS4. Resolution and FPS are not limited in any way on the PC.

It was a lie of course:
That’s not really true. Players are actually opening up the game’s files and editing them in order to remove the framerate limit. I’m seeing numbers like 60fps and 72fps being tossed around as caps, with the latter reserved for 144mHz displays.

When players remove the framerate limit, the game runs at a faster rate. Makes sense, obviously. However, the framerate appears to be tied to the actual game’s speed, something that’s a big no-no in game development.

There are plenty of other sites saying that the game was released with FPS limits/cap when they said it wouldn't have one for PC.

Skyrim:
I seem to remember Todd saying something like we could sabotage the economy of towns in skyrim (and I think he gave as an example being able to sabotage a lumber mill) in some E3 skyrim demo footage. Unfortunately I can't watch videos on this stupid machine so I can't look for it.
...
Well I went and googled it anyway and managed to get some forums with posts of people commenting on it too:

It would be nice if someone could look for the video though, I don't think I will be able to go to the library anytime soon to try to find it :irked:.

Christ that game kept me thinking for quite a while after playing. Fallout 4 did too but not in a good way.

The only complaint for my part is that there were a lot of "broken bridges" and puzzles between segments to make the game longer. Not mentioning the ones in the setpieces, just some like the Zeppelin "rest stop" and such

Ah Delta, first time I played I got stuck for ages. The game does have a few foibles but it's definitely one of the best games of 2015.

Well you could at least call them hypocrites, considering that they declared Fallout Tactics non-canon for its canon issues. Then they release Fallout 4 as a canon game for the series, which has as much if not more canon errors than Tactics had.
