thats why FN was contracted for the FN SCAR project: making a reliable, low maintenance, enduring gun, thats enabled for battle pickup & such for behind the lines ops.
basically, simple, ugly & deadly :)

i prefer the F2000 though ;-)

well, thats true for almost all modern assaultrifles... communist or otherwise. to gravely wound a soldier takes 2 or more guys out of the fight, to kill a soldier only takes out 1..

suppose so. sturdy, easy to maintain & light.
too light (and too ugly) for my tastes.
