Now, I know Prov has played Demise. But let's see how many others can recognise graphics from a game that has been been in the works since 1998, and has used those character graphics since the first demo of Infinite Worlds, which was called Mordor 2 or Infinite Worlds before it was called Demise. The full game was released on 1/15/00.

Infinite Worlds: http://pc.hotgames.com/games//infini/review.htm
The possibilities I've thought of the top of my head are as follows:
1. The images are public domain or from a different source. In which, BIS looks cheap for putting them up as their crafted work/concept art. Or for that matter, cheap for using images that have already been used in a game.
2. A-E sold those images to BIS for use.
3. BIS turned into a bunch of pirates.
4. BIS is remaking Demise or a sequel (which is highly unlikely and which would be news to me, since I've been following that community for a long while and would have heard of it - plus A-E is working on Horizons without any other projects planned or announced aside from Demise's open-sourcing - AND A-E, if I recall correctly, was jerked around by Interplay once before).
What's your thoughts and verdict? I've not seen those pics aside from IW/Demise, and for BIS to tout them as their own, it reeks of foul play of some sort. In any case, these images have been around for almost 3 years, perhaps a bit more. Anyone who has played Demise to any great depth knows these character images quite well.
