[Black Steel] new locations

Ok so the man is Protagonist, he forget everything by free will and just want start something new. Or dont want build anything because only live pesent day.

Its cool concept to make this game random. Just walk on world, got no future and past, just find every day something interesting on it
-increase eastern eggs
-all locations are funny randoms
-you live only present day so got no prior quest

These locations may be made by cutting standard locations to small parts, already i make that way private vaults from Klammath.
And put there lot of new interesting things and lot of funny.

Who knowns, maybe its best game concept i have already, well i think about something like that before but dont known about start and end game, who is prior character. Now that make sense.
 
I know how to end the game. The protaginist Realizes in a random encounter that contains only him that there is no reason to worry about the past or the future because life in the waste demands that you always stay in the present.

The we get the option to continue game and get new quests! :lol:
 
Yesterday i made worldmap locations plan (and world story anyway)

War is end so people walk outside, radiation is not hight already
-locations are two types
1.private vaults, cellars under ruined buildings
2.areas to explore, where you mostly gain exp.
-you start in your home, walk outside and here is story begining
-people in other houses will tell you helps about locations, something like game solution hidden on dialogues, so any other game instructions will be dont need
-you are curious about world because spend many years in small home underground, so walk trough locations like sierra army and explore it
-probably ALL npc will be talking heads, to made more realistic
-every locations to explore will have lot of hidden secrets and riddles

In short
1.war end, walk outside your home to explore world
2.meet other survivors to get info, clues about locations
3.find and explore locations, solve riddles and secrets

(4) every locations may some common parts, some story will be raveal so you get prior game quest, not in begining but in +/-5lev exp.
(5) there will be lot quests and dialogues taken from F2 but modify, all F2 game will be modify to something new

And what about "Black Steel"? This will be just one of prior large locations in game, close connected to storyline and prior quest
 
No i just make it similar to Wasteland Merc 2, simple static pictures (but ofcourse more atmospheric and high quality) People will have long dialogue options. Adventure element is important because this build game story, world background.
 
I don't know. It would cost more megabytes to include so much talking heads, and would limit the number of NPC-s to a low level.

I known how made one Talking Head in 70KB (person with background) or less: 50KB (small person on blank background)

100x70=7MB

But i want already limit mod to 1MB, mostly add new scripts and some items, not some big schow that weight 50MB. Mostly because i made many updates.
 
he lich i was scrolling trough the modding section and came across Toxic mod made by Wild_qwerty and coljack. The mod has been canceled but you might could use the stuff thats done for your black steel mod. I think it would fit in your mod pretty well. It only an idea you have to contact the owners if you like the idea.

not the vault dweller crap but someting new.
i dont know what lol but i have a few map locations in my mind a lot lol
1 a cathedral like in fallout1 where the main guy is(church)
2 the sierra base must be updated like more missions or abonden people.
3, new , new reno people, quests ect.
4, the hub from fo1 :D only more advanced:P
and the glow from fo1 with more updates weapons packadges :D
5, a city like vault city only with shops and bars and fighting area's --?_?-
and some new guns i have tons of own made guns and ammo ect
like the gause veperisor ( a burst mode gause rifle)lol:P
and gause minigun sinstorm,rifle(using electropulsis (good for robots) and lots of more :P
