Our buds over at VDHP have posted a little about a new post apocalyptic game in the progress, it's called Bourgeoisie, not much is known about it (it seems, I cannot read polish which the web page is in) but here is a screenshot from an early build of the game engine:

Looks snazzy!

not bad..theres something about 2D graphics that 3D can't give me...that sense of.....flatness..er..yeah.
:?

I've posted some more info about the game at VDHP. I could have been more elaborate, but somehow I managed to lose connection with the sever during the posting... darn.... You'll have to do with the second shorter version... I'm just so sleepy now... Anyway, you may want to read up on it: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=96272

I'd rather see well rendered 2D than half-assed 3D any day.

That's all well & good but...

It'll probably be 3D, but in an isometrical projection and without camera rotation.
Still, it looks like 2D isometric. :D

Well, well, isometric without camera rotation sounds quite fine for me, saw bad things with camera perspectives in the past, wide more bad things then good ones.
I still remember the 3d hype, for devils sake, nearly everyone menat to make everything 3d.
Headlines like: 2d is dead...

Hum... now some of these publishers are dead...
8)

It's just the landscape. And it's rendered with an early alpha-alpha-alpha-version engine. So its ok for me. We can only analyze the game in its alpha-alpha version engine with some monsters. :)

Right, right! There is still nothing much to see, and to judge. :)

So, we bear payloads of hope in our hearts that it will
turn to something good, that our spirits shall raise
again, over all the losses, all the disappointments.

Uh, that gone a little theatrical...
:D
