Bring back Highwayman car in Fallout 4?

Hello, i was wondering, do you think Nma would support fans if they asked the return of Highwayman car in Fallout 4? I would be happy to be able to drive this car in the game.

On the other hand, fast travel may make it feel useless and they may answer us this is why a car isnt needed.

From what we've seen of the world in Fallout 4, it's going to be a small and cluttered urban environment, like Fallout 3. Cars are better in wide open spaces like in New Vegas. So the car might not be as convenient or cool as one might think.
 
Bethesda won't add cars, especially not now when the game will be released in less than 6 months.
 
The map's probably going to be small-ish like FO3/NV, so I can't imagine a car being particularly useful. Especially not if it has the same really short timescale that those games both have.

On that note though, has anybody used the XRE cars mod for New Vegas? Is it any good and is it worthwhile?

Works well if you press the = key to remove clipping while driving, otherwise you get a lot of cling clank sounds. Granted it's just the motorcycle mod, but it fits well with F: NV IMHO.
 
I had a lot of problems installing it, even then, the cars could never go up steep-ish hills. Otherwise it's pretty cool.
 
Something that the XRE cars mod shows (aside from it being a well put together mod) is that the map on the games is not made for fast vehicles. THey would need to make the map huge, GTA style for it to work. And I rather not have that kind of dioram map design.

A Brahmin Cart would work fine. They could even design it with the Prewar car husk as the car like in the older games.

Well, Skyrim got horse carts for fast-traveling. Something like that could be done in Fallout too- not so much for Fo3 / FNV, though, as these games simply aren't made for that stuff.
 
Nah that's a different mod entirely to the one I'm talking about. I like the thought of motorbikes but the mod doesn't leave it as an object on the map iirc, you sorta just neatly pack it into your inventory and pretend it's parked.

Nope the motorcycle mod leaves it on the map, you only carry the motorcycle caller, which moves it to your current location, unless I have another mod with the same name. :)
