Can charisma be avoided?

Hey, I'm working on designing some mean grumpy combat characters and have been considering ditching charisma all together (if i fight, I want to fight alone ).

So is it possible to play the game and still well, get anywhere, if you created a character with 2 Charisma?

yes! I just made a char with 8int and 2chr and im doin great! chr doesnt really affect much and I can still comminute great causa the int. All it really affect is how many NPC u can have.

All it really affect is how many NPC u can have.

It does affect some dialogue options and some (side)quests, if I remember correctly. For instance, with such a low CH you won't be able to have sex with Miria (or Davin, if you insist) in Modoc and you probably won't be able to become a Porn Star in New Reno. Ha, and once the game is over, you won't be able to ask Miss Kitty for a date. Hm. You'll be a fighter, but man, will you have a poor sex life!

Then again, you could always use Mentats to boost your CH when you want to recruit more NPC's or do the sex stuff...
