Can the Temple of Trials be skipped?

Puokki

Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
Really, can it be skipped? Because it's just so goddamn annoying. And if there is a way, please, don't bother posting anything too complicated, I'm really bad at these things.

No, it can't be skipped. But it won't really take long at all if you just go straight to the end and fight only the enemies you have to.

You can run through the Temple, only fighting and killing a couple of bugs on your way out. If you tag Speech, you won't even have to fight the guy guarding the final gate (Cameron?). All in all, this shouldn't take you more than a couple of minutes, so I don't really see what the problem is with the Temple of Trials. It's part of the game. Accept that fact.

Anyway: I doubt you can mod it out of the game. It's a key-scene, ain't it? You need to trigger the cut-scene to get your Vaultsuit and Pip Boy 2000.

You can't cut it easily though you can delete the critters and doors in Fallout mapper but it part of the game you should rather done what Alec said

why you will skip the trial when you are not a modder???

And yes there is a way edit your map with the BIS Mapper xD

You can hack the executable to change the starting map. Open fallout2.exe with a hex editor, go to offset 0x107ACA, and change 'artemple.map' to 'arvillag.map'. The only glitch is that if you go back into the temple, Cameron isn't there, but his dialogue comes up anyway. If you don't talk him out of fighting, the only way to unlock the last door is by picking it, which is difficult.

Yeah, but wouldn't modding the starting map be more tedious and cost you more time than simply running through the Temple?
