Can't create the robot party member in Sierra Army Depot

mears

First time out of the vault
I am using Killap's patch, and am unable to create the robot in the Sierra Army Depot. I initially used the computer to get Private Dobb's BB gun. After getting the BB gun, I saved the game and went back to the computer to get Skynet's brain. After realizing that I didn't have a high enough science skill, I loaded my save and left. After leveling, I came back and get the following message when I access the computer:

This terminal is Out of Order
Please contact network administrator for further details

I have a feeling this is happening because I left the map. Is there anything I can do to get the terminal functioning again? I found the following MSG file, not sure if it will help.

The error you encountered occurs in the *regular* game only after retrieving one of the brains.
But though I don't know the mod you speak of, I assume its the same there.
Here's the (1.0) script sequence which indicates that:
procedure Node026 begin
variable item;

set_local_var(LVAR_Brain,1);
item:=create_object(Brain_Type,0,0);
set_global_var(GVAR_SKYNET,2);
add_obj_to_inven(dude_obj,item);
set_local_var(LVAR_Broken,1);

Reply(216);

NOption(217,Node999,004);
end
Pay close attention to *set_local_var(LVAR_Broken,1);*, because that is the line wich - and this is the only time this will ever happen -sets the variable broken (the terminal is just broken?). That variable is referred to here:

if (local_var(LVAR_Broken) == 1) then begin
start_gdialog(NAME,self_obj,4,-1,-1);
gSay_Start;
call Node002;
gSay_End;
end_dialogue;
end

That starts the node which is the only that outputs the msg lines you quoted to:

procedure Node002 begin
Reply(mstr(112)+mstr(113));

NOption(115,Node999,004);
end

And it's result is just plain the end_dialogue, which lets you back to game.

Edit: Now you should check your inv for the brain.
