I don't know.

Your trunk was not just missing, but vaporized, and with everything in it gone.
The best I could do was put in a new one. But I can't do anything about your stuff. If you had anything important, just add it back with F2se.
Do try to use the "change" item rather than "create", as it's not 100 % working.

From the save I fixed? Are you serious?
It's there for me, working perfectly.
 
Yes. Then I realized you (unintentionally?) pulled a meme on me:

"Yo Dawg! I heard you like savegames so I put a savegame in your savegame..." :D

I.e. the working save was in a folder in the original save folder. Anyhoo, thanks for the help.
 
So, what exactly happened to the trunk, Darek? Any ideas. I'll have to play around with this myself and see what I come up with. I'd like to know WHY this happened.
 
For all I know it could be me messing something up while shamelessly cheating with F2se. :)

I'm sure the time of the bear dude is better spent on confirmed bugs.

Nah, I have no idea. I'm not sure exactly how the trunk works. Where are the items stored? In save.dat or one of the map.saves?
If the trunk is in invisibility mode, the script would still have to be on one of the maps, wouldn't it. I went through all the maps with F2se but couldn't find it. Also, even if it was invisible, shouldn't it still show up in the Mapper?
I just figured it had been completely erased and added a new trunk in with the Mapper.

Like Bengt said, lets not worry about this unless it comes up again.
