Character Creation: Beards. No "none" option?

Just a quick check if anyone had the same problem as me:

I created a character and in the process I wanted to see the various beards. I then decided, after having tested the various beards upon my character's previously oh-so-smooth face, that I did not want a beard after all.

There is no "none" option.

I was stuck with my beard.

Am I missing something here or is it really not possible to remove the beard again?

(Am not talking about getting a shave in game - am talking about during character creation)
 
I think it defaults to 'none' if you just deselect your current beard.
 
Click on the same beard you've endowed you loving digital self with and it disappears of it. My character is endowed like Charlie Manson as I kind of ran at the game with a - well, I AM a vain guy but shit I doubt I'd be shaving with a rusty can out there - kinda attitude. I was wrong. The future is full of perfect skin and teeth and entirely without fat people...

I have to admit I had this fantasy I stumble across a fat camp out there in the digital wastes to explain there absence because good lord there's a lot of food in the future...

Or have I just stumbled on the role-playing part of the game and if so if you routinely see you dick of a morn when you empty what role-playing options does this bad boy leave you with.

Hmm, and can I just shave my beard off somewhere else? I don't mean changing face, just plain shaving.

Facial hair should grow during the course of action! ;)

. . . but in Fallout 3 beards shave YOU!!

Yes, there are - ugh - barbers all over the place. Your robot butler in Megaton/Tenpenny Tower can do your hair if you have an apartment, Butch can do your hair if he's out of Vault 101 and Snowflake in Underworld can do your hair. All for free.
