How do I modify the .gcd files? I know that there's a supercharacter in the files section but I don't wan't to use it because I think that is TO much cheating. Yeah I know it's cheating to modify the .gcd files too but I want to do that.

Easy.. easy man... leave your mouce in peace :)
Uhh, the structure is rather transparent.. think a little and you'll see. Or... I can send you a tutorial on them.

Wrongo, doc. :p

TeamX tutorial doesn't cover the format of the GCD files ;).

GCD files has the same structure than the normal critter PRO files (without the extra part).

You can download the Critter PRO document from The Mod Squad's site at http://www.pipboy2000le.f2s.com/

At the Mods/Guide to Modding section.

RE: wrongo, wrongo MatuX ;)

I think I know more about TeamX than you :D

There is NO information about GCD format in the "Format of PC files" document.

I have the translated version and the russian one and there is not even an offset.

Or possibly it's a new one? The one I have has a date of: "06-Feb-2000" (written in da doc)

RE: wrongo, wrongo MatuX ;)

well, there're no offsets. There's something like: "and then go all the characteristics, one-by-one, separated from each other by 4 bytes" or something like that.

Very interesting and USEFUL info... :D

RE: wrongo, wrongo MatuX ;)

Yeah, I thought the same. Maybe Serge was just too lazy? When I was exploring PC filez myself (I hadn't even heard about TeamX or the Modsquad then) I have explained ALL the offsets and that didn't look like hard work.

RE: wrongo, wrongo MatuX ;)

Maybe Serge didn't specify the offsets and values because they're arranged the same like the critter PRO files.

Why don't you make a specs doc about PCs and re-distribute it? :)
