Check it out: a new *real* mod...

Heh heh... Well, now if you just downloaded it from the files section then you'd find in the readme a full list of every weapon and what it replaces. The "weird looking thing" above the FN F2000 is a replacement image for the M29 Gauss Rifle. For those that can't tell, it's similar to the rail gun Fortune used in MGS2.

I noticed on the downloads page that neither the screenshot link nor the readme link seem to work... Hmm... Well, both files are included with the mod data so just download the thing and have fun! :D

Files section is at the top of the page BTW...

And Silencer: Do you really think it's THAT bad? Or are you against the mod because it strays from the FO-fiction theme?

Or are you refering to the 15-30 minute line to download the file?

Neither. I was referring to MoLoKk's now non-existent double post, one of which said "Hey, I've double posted {but am to mentally challenged to delete the redundant post even though there are no posts after mine} " and his inability to find, what, the file? Look under Files/Fallout 2/Mods , is that such a diffcult procedure to follow??

Thought Roshambo might have had a shot at him, but he didn't ;)

OOOooooOOOOooooHHHhhh...

See kids, this is what happens when you take a weekend road trip to Dallas...

Sorry for the incrimination then, Silencer...

PEACE

sorry for digging up an old thread, but I was to lazy to send a mail so i just post it here..

As much as I hate to say it, my mod has a bug I currently can’t fix. Actually, it’s a bug with FIC, the program I used to edit all the proto files. It swaps the “Burst” and “Single” lines in the data for certain ranged weapons which in turn swaps the sound that should be played. Thus when you fire semi-auto you hear a burst sound and vice versa. I’ve tried everything to correct this, including using FIME and other editors, but to no avail. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, you can email me at the address below.
I used fime to open the proto files and it seems like you set first firing mode to burst and second to shoot. I changed it, so that shoot is first and burst second again, saved the files and the game was playing the right sounds for shoot/burst. Why didn't that work for you?

Nice work anyway, some weapons have still their old names, though. (maybe you want that, but... a pistol called "pipe rifle"?
