No, I didn't speak it, I wrote it.
But I will take this as an honor to be commended in such a way.

My parents live like 2000 km away, not exactly a stroll down the street.

Well there is always the possibility of you having a friend that you might trust to have your computer, in were you are studding, that isn't living in a student apartment, most of us don't, but you might. And of course there is the possibility to rent a non student apartment, or a small storage with an internet connection or to build in to a one.
