Chris Avellone video interview

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
Exactly one day from its release, Coin-Op TV found the time to put online a brief video interview with Chris Avellone, focused on, you guessed it, Lonesome Road, although Chris also talks about the DLC business model in general, voice actors and whether Bethesda will release a GotY edition for New Vegas. Here's the embedded Youtube video:

Did I miss something? He says that they "requested" Bill Nye for Old World Blues. I take it to mean that they wanted him but didn't get him? Or did they and I'm just missing something huge?

I checked the voice acting list, can't find him. I watched the show when I was little a lot and feel like I'd recognize the voice if I heard it. Don't remember it from the game.

I think that's what he meant, yeah.

Do people really think that there isn't going to to be some sort of combo pack with the game and all the DLC in the future? At some point it's going to get bundled. My bet: Steam Holiday 2011 sale. Book it. Done.

I know this may not be the best place to ask ( I didn't know in which thread I could put it) but since this is a MCA interview I thought here it works...

I was asking MCA in a PM about a particular audio piece in the Dead Money DLC, this one. It is definitevly a new, unused track which wasn't there in the original game (in this video it is mixed with small pieces of the Mojave music). Thing is - the original author of this piece of music is nowhere to be found! I didn't find any credits for it. So I asked Sawyer, he didn't know, and MCA wasn't entirely sure either and suggested it was either Mark Morgan or Inon Zur (since it sounds pretty Torment-y he said it was most likely him Morgan). So does that mean that Morgan DID new music for New Vegas' DLC? Or am I just being fooled here... Would really like to know the origins of this set of music.

The prominent "drone" thing is new to me, I've never heard that in the maingame. The underlying loops are indeed remixes.

Meh, all of this I knew already. "and ambient music" - duh, no shit? :P Thanks for asking them anyway WUE!
