Christmas gaming list

Let me put it this way: Getting the full version would require less time and less money for me... :look:

Oh, and I forgot Fahrenheit... I've heard it's pretty good.

Well at least read the reviews. Civ 4 is cool if you don't have Civ 3, but I'd stay away from Starship Poopers and Land of the Dead if I were you.

I'd recommend avoiding Fahrenheit if you want to avoid losing your sanity due to the console style of play they "forgot" to remove/change in the pc version.

Civ 4
Battlefront II
Dawn of War
The Movies

Other than that, just wishful thinking.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Merry/Happy Whatever...

So basically... all games suck?

How about you recommend a few "sleeper" games...
The cool new games no one has heard of because they aren't advertised all over the place.

Heh. Just like Matrix, then, where they didn't even bother to convert the menus properly.

And the combat was oh so interesting...

I'd rather have it as a screensaver.

Amazingly the words "good" and "new" don't mix when it comes to computer games.

Unreal 2, for example, was kinda neat, but it wasn't good.
FarCry was also kinda neat with all the water physics and neat stuff, but other than that it didn't really provide much entertainment.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone's still producing slower-paced strategy/eco-sims. The recent RTSes are getting on my nerves with their cheap ZOMG adrenaline rush effects.

If I wanted an adrenaline rush, I'd poke fun at Rosh.
