Is this passage from the Fallout Bible?

Anyway, this picture is nothing short of spectacular, and if no one hires you, Defonten, for a Fallout-type game, then the world is at a loss.

(Goes off to build an altar.)

Wuw, thank you very much Signeon! I am glad you like it :) By the way - two or three days ago I emailed this and some other pics to Bethesda Softworks. Here's what they answered:

As you can see it was "thank you for cooperation" type of answer ;) In other words (I think) that means "No". Well at least I know that they refused Leonard Boyarsky also (of course I'm not as good as Leo but nevertheless) ;)

"However, there's a hope.. a slim hope only a few know of..© ;)

That picture is awe inspireing...

It's everything one could want from a picture... how much would a 3 foot by 4 foot oil painting of that, signed cost?

Just curious...

TERRIFIC! At first I thought this will be one more lame fan-art. But this is better than most professional illustrations I know. I remember the artwork that surrounded Troikas PA game which didn't come close to this. Simply amazing, please go to Bethesda because THAT is exactly the Fallout mood.

This is an outstanding piece of work. It is a very rare occassion that I change my wallpaper. But I wonder if it would have been better without the dust devil. I have no artistic talent or training, so I'll just admire in awe.

Blow 'em up!!

But I wonder if it would have been better without the dust devil.

I think the dust devil is necessary in this picture, as it balances out the amount of detail on both sides of the pic. Without it there, all the major details and the like would be situated to the right, so it was added. Instant wallpaper of course!!

Blow 'em up!!

Blow 'em up, eh? Well if someone did that we would be further away from a seemingly distant FO3...

wooo! very nice!!
how did you do it?
you model everything in 3d with XSI ? or you draw it? i wonder .
This is fucking great!!

Bethesda better take you, or they'd be robbing us from some incredible potentiality in the upcoming Fallout 3!

I suppose, F3 will be far away from Fallout ideology, maybe just slightly resembling the former splendour. No illusions, friends. If it is ever done, it will be somewhat like Fallout:POS.

A few elements in this scene were modelled and rendered in Softimage|XSI. Tried to keep 3D elements as lowpoly as possible though leaving further editing and final touches to Photoshop. Check this pic out: http://cinealliance.com/xenomorf/casi.jpg

--- Wooz, I want to buy a round of drink for everybody here on NMA forum!

---Oh really? That's going to be 35$?!

---Wooz.. come'er.. Theesh guys ARE THE BEST! I love you guys!

;)

The building the center foreground is the World Trade Center, right?

And great stuff man, definitely wallpaper material!

Phenomenal piece of art...

I'd like to see what your supermutants look like.

The folks at Bethesda would have to be blind men to not line up that interview...

I suspect the dust devil is one of the radioactive tornados mentioned in Fallout 2, I think.

This is absolutely amazing. I'd be using it as a wallpaper as well if it were higher resolution (I run in 1920x1200).

I registered just to ask this: Any plans for a poster? I believe that there are places online that do that.
