Co-operative???

Just to clarify since this thread is most ancient, there is no co-op, the modding didn't work as the game goes out of sync too often. There was someone who claimed to have the source code and was going to mod it in but we've never heard from them since.

Closest you are going to get is to convert each map and put the opponents under the control of a human player so that you can team up i.e 2 vs 1.
 
I kinda know this will be qualified as gravedigging, since the thread is over 5 years old, but It's probably the most apropriate thread around for my question.

The requiem_for_a_starfury's answer sounded kinda final, but since it was 5 years I need to ask:

What is the status of cooperative mode now?

1. Are there maps which I could play with friends, with AI controlling some actors? Becuase we were trying to run some maps downloaded from http://kecske85.valodi.hu/coop (EasyCoop) and it seems one of our teams gets insta-killed upon arrival, and the unlucky player gets to control the actors built in the map, like bandits, cyvilians, etc...
 
Oh, silly me. Ofcourse misinterpreted first date-alike-string in sight as post date while its "joined" date. Doh. Nevermind me then. Thanks for the answer. Sad thing cooperative doesn't work.
