This is my house, at 19h00 and it was snowing.

I'm tired of that white crap falling from the sky

Hmmm I don't know what you guys are talking about, It's 65 F here, and supposed to stay that way all next week. Lows in the mid forties.

And what's this "snow" you keep talking about?

I can walk outside in shorts and a t-shirt year round :P

How hot does it get during the summer there though?

It's a balmy -15 here right.. about 2 feet of snow on the ground. low wind... it's been a good day today...

It's staying in the 20s here...

It was 0 degrees last Saturday night. My sinuses and tonsils are infected. I got sick from staying out in it.

)'s nice... 20 above is beautiful... when it hit's 20 i'll be outside grilling steaks in jeans and a t-shirt.

the worst was on sunday. Me and a bunch of my friends were out by 5 AM waiting in line for the student section seats at the uconn-oklahoma game. The game was at 4:30. It started out at around -15, then dropped to -25 by midmorning, but warmed up a bit to near 0. The wind was probably the biggest factor in this. It was ridiculous. I'm still not warmed up from it.

Damn, I remember Buffalo when it snowed so damn much they had doors on the second floor.

Hell the snow in NYC was bad enough- I moved to Virginia and now dream of wintering in Brazil.

when it get to -10, we go out with our coats not closed, and anything above zero is t-shirt day.

Hah! That is weak John. Here in North Dakota, we get plenty more, that looks like early spring to me! Haha, kidding. We haven't got much snow this year in North Dakota, but what you call cold, I call it another day. I've lived here so long, I am now used to really cold winters, and really hot summers. I'm an all season guy! Yeah, Canada got the snow we were supposed to get but the guys up the weather channel said some kind of "jet stream" pushed it up to Canada. So haha! Hell, more snow for me, means more snowmobile action and fun!

Around here, its just too damn cold to snow right now. There's not enough moisture in the air, and too much wind, for any snowfall. But when it snows, it hellasnows. Luckily, snowfall hasn't been that common this winter. But when it snowed before Christmas, we got 3 feet in like 2 days. Trying to climb over barbed wire fences up a huge hill while drunk in 3 foot deep snow is not a good thing, although quite fun, especially when you slide down the immense hill on you garbage bag.

You should've been in North Dakota when Blizzard Hannah hit in 97. I was about 9 years old and the snow piled on the lawn was taller than me! In the initial days after it was over, we couldn't even get the door open without outside help. But we were extremely lucky because we lived on the air base then and my had two of his guys come and dig us out and then they called some help and dug out the rest of the block. He took us to the gym on base and we stayed in that stinkpile and wormhole for about two days. But as bad as it seemed, it was heaven considering the situation. We were really lucky because we didn't get the flood which followed shortly afterwards. But damn that snow got high, worst winter storm in North Dakota history for a hundred years. The blizzard hit a few days before my big birthday party, so it was cancelled, I was pissed. But at least I didn't have to go back to school that summer when the snow melted unlike the other kids who weren't fairing so well in school. I was a smart kid back then!

I wonder what cold is really like. I wear a jumper in 86 and now in the rain (glorious), it is 77 in Sydney, cooler than in the winter. (why can't we all just use metric dammit)

I really miss white sky crap. Winters without snow makes me depressed.

The west of France hasn't had snow for about five or six years; gosh, I miss it!

I'm ... dreaming of a White ... Christmas ...
