Cold and snowed-in

I'm ... dreaming of a White ... Christmas ...

I've never actually had a green Christmas.

(According to Environment Canada we technically had a green Christmas, but that was just 'cause there wasn't any recent snow. There was a thorough coating of old snow - when I looked out the window I sure didn't see any green. - and that was the closest I've ever been to having a green Christmas).

Then when I came back to school, I discovered that they hadn't had snow for all of christmas and it was +14 C.

I can't find my favourite picture of snow - if I find it I'll scan it in.

EDIT: This was taken about five years ago, mid January.

OK Paladin , i'm calling Bullshit on -40 being just another day in North Dakota, unless you can show up the numbers (and you can't i checked) shut up about that. :P

Starskeeter, actually i live in Laval, and island just north of the Island of Montreal, Quebec's second largest city.

White Christmas??? i'd pay to have a green and sand and beach christmas.... actually i could do that next year.

actually i could do that next year.
Go to Queensland or the Northern Territory for green or too much sand in Australia. Miles and miles of endless, golden beaches, with relatively few people (but watch out for the many species of deadly creatures which infest the north in summer).

Where I live(western Norway, the coast) the temperatures have been ranging from about -4C to +12C...It hasn't snowed that much either.....It isn't more than like maybe 10cm of snow at the most here....But at my cottage, up in the mountains it's usually like 2-4meters of snow....Anv cery very cold...
On New Year's eve 2000 I was swimming in the Indian Ocean!!! It was GREAT!!!!:D....But now I'm stuck with all this shitty snow!!!!!:(
