Comic figures become real!

Still Mildly Glowing
Yay...what are your thoughts about this? Bringing back all these comic figures like superman, hulk, spiderman, dare devil, the fantastic four (or what were they called?) and more as reality movies?

The worst thing I've read is that FOX IS GOING TO MAKE A DRAGONBALL REALITY MOVIE! hold me...please...

It's mostly just a way to cash in on depleted ideas.

If the movie has its own merits (like Spider-Man)m it's great. Bad movies (Batman 4) should never be made, but I expect they still make the studio quite a lot of money...The comparison to the current Interplay situation is obvious.

Dragonball Z movie...That'd be good for a few laughs.

DRAGONBALL ~REAL ACTION~ MOVIE? ACTED BY HUMAN ACTORS? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd prefer a Gundam movie... and no, that not-so-good G-saviour don't count...

Yeah i'm just waiting for them to start making a "Preacher" movie.
When i say preacher i speak of the great comic made by Steve dillon and Garth ennis. Somehow i get the feeling it would get an R rating.
Badabom badabing.

You should see Dare Devil. That movie will make you long for the greatness of Batman 4.

That bad? I mean, Batman 4, for me, was basically looking at Arnold Schwarzy being cool for a prolonged period of time, my brains just shut out the rest of the film.

I haven't been too interested in Dare Devil, for me, a super-hero that has the power to see despite the fact that he's blind is none too interesting. And that dumb Alias-chick's in it. I do like that actor that plays the Kingpin, though, he's in the Green Mile, too. Such a delightfull fellow.

Michael Clarke Duncan, outstanding fellow.

He's also the same height as I am, though he's a bit more on the muscled side despite my time in the military and continued working out. Spending years digging ditches is pretty much what helpd fill out his impressive build.

Daredevil really sucked ass.

Comic-based Movies are ok, as long as they are of good quality, like Spiderman or the first two Batman Movies.

I am really looking forward to Spiderman 2, and Hulk could get cool too.

I'm sick of these action hero movies, and frankly I'm sick of these Hollywood movie companies that follow each other and start making the same stupid movie as the rest of Hollywood, where's the innovation in that..

Oh and Dare Devil truly sucked big time, but the woman was hot!

Aye, he also did the voice for the Kingpin in an old Spider-man game. I hope they'll put him in a Spider-man movie too, since he's just cool and Spider-Man and Daredevil live in the same reality. I heard they were planning to put in Doc Oc (booo!) and the Lizard dude (yay!) in the next one. I'm just waiting on Venom and Carnage.

You're as tall as him? Damned, man, that's tall.

Glad to know you're not as muscular as the guy, though, he's just freaky

Errr, some Chinese/ Taiwanese movie studio already made this one. I watch them on TV!

Yeah man! Gundam Seed preferred. Hey! Come to my place this weekend and and bring me some Gundam seed again! Please!!!! Oh yeah bring also Nrimo lan Sumeh. Oh and some girl!!!

Its nice to see some Clan-ers here!

The reason we're seeing so many comic book movies now a days is because back in the seventies (I think, maybe eighties), Marvel made a deal with Fox to make a certain amount of movies based on their comics (between 10 and 20). They're all being churned out now because they can be made well as opposed to the old Captain America movie.
Off the top of my head, there's been Captain America, Balde 1&2, Spider-Man, X-Men 1&2, Daredevil, The Hulk, and The Fantastic Four (FF was made but never released, you can download it off Kazaa).
And about the quality of these movies, being a rabid fanboy for the past 12 years I have been disapointed at how many liberties the writers have taken with the storylines/origins. Actually the movie that stayed closest to it's original was Daredevil.

P.S. Toby Maguire makes a good Peter Parker, but a crappy Sider-Man
