conspiracies

either way, if in your country a guy with a 66 IQ can get two assault rifles, then yes, you desperately need better guncontrol...

Yeah, the man *claims* that all of the evidence points in that direction while it, in fact, doesn't. It looks a lot more like he wanted it to be true and then tried to construct all of the 'evidence' in such a way that it might seem like it was a PsyOp.

If looked at entirely neutrally, however, there's almost no reason to believe it was actually a PsyOp.

We had the same gun laws as america untill the masacure now we are unable to purchase any automatic weapons.(BTW this was not a stab at america) I think it was a good thing I mean WTF are you going to need and automatic weapon for? fucking duck hunting.

and yes the facts do have some strange things in it so yeah this could be true.

so yeah this could be true

Ban please.

SpellCheck can be useful as well.

As far as I know, fully automatic rifles were not legal at the time of the massacre. However, Tasmania just might have had separate, retarded laws closer to the time (just as laws vary between different States in America).

You guys just killed one of my favourite conspiracy theories. Before I was sure it was a secret government operation, but the idiot savant theory really got me thinking. Oh well... :(

I believe Osama hadn't crashed his birdy into the Sydney Opera House, Malky, so I fail to see the relevance of your post.

...just a joke, dude. Yeesh.

There is no (pre-configured) automatic version of the AR-10 or AR-15. They're only outfitted with safe/semi selectors. There is a way to convert both to auto, but that requires a shitload of permits and an extensive background check even in America.

But converting it to auto is more trouble than it's worth anyway. Automatic fire is a waste of bullets, and it can literally melt a light barrel like that on the AR-15 within seconds. Assault Rifles, Machine guns, Miniguns, Autocannons- they're all used in short bursts, rarely actual full auto... the main difference is the definition of "short burst" for each... oh, and the fact that Autocannons use much larger, often explosive rounds.

the fact that he made so many headshots and wasted little bullets suggests he was indeed shooting semi-auto.

which seems to be quite common in the US history of gun development... (with the most painful example being the original M60?)
