No, it's just a map created by brazilian fans. There's also a map called Sampa placed in São Paulo. But it's too big and not as fun as CS Rio.

I partially agree with the evercrack bit, simply because I've seen it happen with WoW, however even evercrack isn't as bad as WOW it would seem, but to ban a game outright is just plain stoopahd, they'll find another way to get the game, or play it at a lan center that already has it. They aren't going to stop the addicted players by taking it away, it's been proven that prohibition doesn't work already.

It'll increase lan center's profits significantly however...

You kill mobs in the wrong area? You die. You stand in the shop too long? You die. You say something to someone you don't know? You die. You go to another town in which no one knows you? You die. Actually, if you're not sneaky, you'll die along the way.

If you're a noob and don't know anyone, you'll die hundreds of times before you reach level 40. And dying in Tibia HURTS. You lose experience (possibly a level too), skill points, and items (you drop your bag, and 10% to drop the other things you're wearing).
