Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
I bought fallout2 in China 3 years ago, it is an English edition(1.01), but I cannot adjust the violence level to max, no language filter, and there's no child in the game. I think it is the Uk version.During the game, I've encountered many strange problems, ie, crash will happen when I enter the Military Base or even ealier in the Den if I try to enter the robot area.
I've tried US 1.02 patch, but crash does happen when "meet wrong people in wrong place" and in some other places, and the adjustment of violence does not work, so I can't resume.
I downloaded the children patch, but the readme txt says"You must first patch your Fallout 2 Europe Version into US version!!!", I don't know how to do this,and I don't know if the Uk patch will work.
Please help me, thanks a lot!
 
Thanks, I have read it already, but I'm still not so sure, because I must go on with the game to figure out if there will be a crash, crash is always annoying :(
 
For what it's worth, the children patch works beautifully with the normal UK version. If you have the ELV it may not.
