On the podcast 1up Yours on June 6, 2007 at the 80 minute mark, Garnett Lee hinted that "The creator of Wasteland" was working on a "spiritual successor" to Fallout 1 & 2.

Surprisingly, I couldnt find this information on these forums

Wasteland is by far my favorite computer/video game of ALL time. Been playing it since 1988 (20 years... damn!). Without a Wasteland, there would never have been a Fallout.

I'd love to see a sequel to Wasteland, or even a modernized remake of it.

I remember reading it somewhere and getting exited. There hasn`t been any new information since that about this, so there`s nothing new to say. I wonder if they would reply to a NMA e-mail something like "Yo still working on "that"?"
