Trailer is palatable and has no roaring monsters, unlike every video ever released of total war warhammer. Beyond that, get ready for dlc galore and cut content.

Dammit, Sega! The 40k Universe seriously needs some true love! It's such an interesting setting for an RPG, too!
Worse of all, they didn't even use the tagline of the 40k Universe; "In the grim darkness of the far future, there's only war."

I remember there once was planed for a WH40K MMO, after many issue happened they decide to make it into a single player, don't remember that name now but that may will be the closest thing to a WH40K RPG, other than DoW 2 Campaign of course.

But can we get some Tau and Necron action in these games? Kind of sick of Space Marines and Orks all the time. At least we're getting Eldar this time though.

Pretty sure you can choose as Tau or Necron in DoW, at least in the first one with expansion, second DoW seems have those only in the last stand mode.

Were they only playable in multiplayer? I'm talking about single-player and I seem to remember the campaign only being Space Marines or Orks.

They are playable race in campaign of Soulstorm and Dark Crusade.

Just don't expect it will be the same as campaign in DoW or Winter assault, it's more like world conquest mode in Rise of Nations, you do get some cutscenes after you win the game though, telling what happen after you defeat every other races.

I wonder if this one will be better than the previous titles, I enjoyed the older ones but they always felt... claustrophobic and empty at the same time. Hopefully they will at least let us zoom out instead of being stuck in the darn forced perspective.
It would also be nice if the pop cap wasn't stuck at 200, because I would love to just throw a wall of imperial guard at my enemies.
