By the looks of it, it looks like Fallout 2 but wierder and like Westerado.
It has some Lovecraftian stuff in it and seems to play more like an immersive sim.
Any thoughts about it?
I doubt it will be anything like Fallout. Seems to be a trend these days to make games and call them "like Fallout", and yet, not even one game as been like Fallout. No, Wasteland 2 is not like Fallout. No, Underrail is not like Fallout. No, Age or Decadence is not like Fallout. Etc.
This doesn't mean those games are bad, but saying that they are like Fallout or spiritual successor or whatever is just bullshit.

I do not like real time combat in my cRPGs. And that doesn't seem like a cRPG anyway, it is an Action RPG (which is my least favorite RPG genre). So that is already a minus for me.

It looks like it offers alot of options tho other than the usual dialogue/combat.

But Rise, it's post apocalyptic so it has to be a Fallout-esque game!
Just like how any medieval games are RPG's and how 28 Days Later is a zombie film.

Anyway, it looks charming and I'll definitely give it a peep once it is released and see if it is worthwhile but it doesn't seem like a Fallout game to me either.

This is coming to early access early 2020.

I have a few announcements:

1. I’m gonna self-publish Death Trash.
2. The game will be released on Steam, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and more PC stores.
3. Death Trash will be released on Steam as Early Access at the beginning of 2020. Please wishlist the game over here: Death Trash on Steam

Early Access? What type of game is this again?

Death Trash is a semi open world role-playing game with a handcrafted story campaign in a grotesque post-apocalyptic setting. It features some replayability through choices you make, both in narrative and in gameplay. It’s quite a complex game to figure out for a solo developer, so it would improve a lot through broad feedback and more iterations and that’s my main reason for using Early Access instead of working behind closed doors and releasing when it’s all done.

Early Access will start with about a third of the final campaign, gradually update the game, and leave the final third to still be discovered on or close to the official 1.0 release.

If you have more questions regarding Early Access, please also look at the info on the Steam page.
