I'd like to disable running on double click, meaning I would keep running only through holding SHIFT. Reasoning being, I'm playing the game with sfall under 10x speed and sometimes single click is registered as double click and it breaks my stealth. Is it possible to do this through hookscripts? Or do I have to change ddraw.dll? Any dirty workarounds?

You can try enabling DontTurnOffSneakIfYouRun in draw.ini.
