Dog in Junktown... what can you do with it?

First time out of the vault
If ,say, you get into a fight, is it going to fight along with you? :P

I know that it follows you even across the whole map, but I'm just very curious as to what it can do.
 
Of course it will fight alongside you, Yuri, for that dog is none other than legendary Dogmeat, rated #2 on GameSpy's list of best game sidekicks, right behind the notorious HK47 assassin droid from the KotOR series.
 
I'm surprised there's someonje here who doesn't know about Dogshi... I mean Dogmeat. But hey, take this from me, it's the best side-kick you'll ever get.

I'm shocked :shock: Dogmeat, to have his courage questioned :roll:
Just keep him clear of those energy fields in Military base - doesn't seem to do much good for his ill kept fur... I did try feeding him Pedigree Pal once (made him vomit, and spin in agony...must've had something to do with the "best until 20##" printing)
