Dog Thread

Dogs and Cats suck major ass and donkey balls. They die too quickly, 10 years and they are rolling in pain from some illness. Next thing you know, you got to bring them to a veterinarian for a death sentence. Plus you keep them as your personal slaves, which is kind of strange when you think about it.
I have one 15 year old and several 12 year old cats around the house. They're outside almost all the time and sleep in the boiler room during winters. Slaves? More like welfare leeches, picky as fuck too.

Female cats are vicious manipulators who only like you for food and shelter.
Male cats are man's true best friend.

I don't think you understand the definition of a slave. At all. The whole point of owning a slave is to have them do work for you, feed you, clothe you, have sex with you, etc. Dogs and cats are not slaves, because we don't expect them to do anything. In fact, by the definition of what a slave is, we're THEIR slaves. Dogs and cats get to lounge around the house and outside without a care in the world while we feed them, bathe them, take them out on walks, basically do everything in our power to make them happy while they don't have to lift a single paw.

And also for the record, my shiatsu is 12 years old and is still just as frisky as when she was a puppy. So your whole "dies at 10 years old" theory is also bunk. Good day sir.

I was a slave master too, i'm not trying to be high and mighty. Had to bring my 15 year old cat slave to the veterinerian for a deadly dose, because there was nothing we could do about her illness. But putting a leash on an animal and telling it what to do is still weird to me when i think about it. We kind of presume that every animal-human relationship (no, not that kind of relationship :kharn:) is consensual from both sides and not a forced in behaviour.

I guess most animals live much better under humans, but say a human had a choice to be a slave to some super wealthy entity, and all of his basic needs were always taken care of 100%, but he could not have free will in deciding when, or what he will do. Most people would probably be ok with it, but still there would be some who would better lead a free homeless life than the former restricted one.

Though i guess, if you take your animal from a shelter, or save its life in any other way that's a lot better than just buying one because YOU want one to keep you company.

For the record, I just wanted to say I despise the fuck out of cats.

They shit on my lawn, piss my dog off and are a general nuisance.

Dogs are awesome. Have always had dogs in the family and I will eventually get my own, when I feel I have the time and economy for it.

I had a dog named fred (don't ask I named him when I was 4) he had more personality than my current dog... Srsly I've never heard a dog make such a wide range of noises... If I didn't know any better I'd swear he was trying to talk to me... I think I'll get a german breed next... A lot of cool breeds originate from Germany for some reason...
