I remember there being a thread about this, but I could not find it so I'll just make this.

I have a Staffie/Jack Russel cross ATM, which I walk 1/2 times a day for around 3 or 4 miles. Had it for about 7 years now. Sometimes I take care of my friends Jack Russel when she is not in. Going walk my brothers girlfriend's Lapso-Apso/Shitsu soon. It sounds silly, but its actually really cute.
I love dogs and I am going to buy a German Sheperd in maybe in a year or two.

I've got a shitzu/Jack Russel cross with some other breeds mixed in. Basically I have a mutt dog. Most of the best dog breeds come from Germany imo. I'd like to have a German shepherd, a Siberian husky, and a pug In the future.

a Siberian husky
Feel free to get one, but be careful. They need walking at least 10 to 20 miles a day, or they will tear your house into little shreds. Knew a guy who walked one for 5 miles a day, he couldn't handle it after 6 months, dog went crazy and he had to buy 2 new sets of furniture because he didn't walk it enough. This isn't a barb against you or anything, I wouldn't buy a husky. They are basically a full time job.

12 y/o purebred Akita. Best dog in Japan, but very aggressive. She kills anything smaller than her and tries to kill anything bigger than her (bit a cow's neck straight through). But she's still just a pup at heart. Walk her a couple miles a day.

My Loyal Beast is named Dexter, that was his name before he came to us, but I think it fits him!

He is truly the best Dog i could ever wish for, He is playful, loyal to death, loves to swim just like I, and he listens to commands without second thought.

He is a good boy ^^

Rottweiler, I love my dog, he looks tough but most people don't realize rotti's were originally bred to be herding dogs and most of the aggressiveness is a learned/trained behavior. If you see my rotti barreling towards you don't worry, he has a thing for licking feet.

How long have you had him? What is his age?

Dude, take a breath in between creating threads.

I have only have one dog, and she lived 16 years, it almost destroyed me when she died so now I am very wary of getting any new pets.

Beagle mutt mix. I was down in Kentucky doing voulenteer work about 5 years ago, building houses in Appalachia, (Im a carpenter)

This dog would follow me from my cabin to the jobsite every morning for the 2 weeks I was there. The last day he wasnt around until I was getting into my truck, about a quarter mile away, I called him and had the doors to my pickup open...dude charged down the road and hopped in, I looked at my wife and said: "Well I guess we have a dog now" I have had many dogs growing up..this guy is awesome.

Dont mind my workboots and stuff in the pic lol

My childhood dog (I had had him since I was like... Four? We called Fred dog) died back in april 2015 Not much longer after my grandfather did.. He wasn't the same dog after grandad was gone. He was just more depressed. He'd sit in grandpa's room and just whine... Its was... Well anyways he had tumors on his paw and his snout... We had talked the vet... He was basically like "yeah we can't do anything about the snout what I reccomend is ya Just kill him" my uncle made him a coffin and we burried him not long after. I have a couple other dogs. One chronically lacks a personality. And the other is pretty as he'll but retarded as fuck. I Literally I once dropped a glass and he fuckin' ate it. Just ran over to the shards of glass and started chowin down... Basically niether of my other dogs were as cool as Fred dog.

I had a rottie for almost 15 years. One of the most gentile dogs you could wish for in the "family" unit. He was protective, but not aggressive at all. Loved his tennis balls and just in general being a 150 lb lap dog.

Sucks dude, putting down a dog is, at least for me, like losing a family member. So shitty. You have my sympathy for that one, two, punch there.

They are great dogs, but they need a lot of training. My aunt had one, she is really lazy so it never got walked, and when we did walk it, it was a massive pushy dick. She ended up selling it to the dog walker. Its was a beautiful creature.
