Yeah...and uh...while I compared Bush Jr to Nixon, I do feel a bit ashamed for it. At least Nixon did something for the country. Bush isn't even trying.

I suspect that if it hadn't been for a certain gigantic scandal, nixon would be remembered as the best president of the last half of the 20th century. Democrats despise reagan, repubs despise clinton, no one is too fond of bush/carter as pres, johnson has vietnam, and kennedy, well, he'll get votes, but mostly because he was good looking and murdered. The only real competition would have been ike, and nixon simply did more.
