In a German magazine, PC Games Hardware, they interviewed a guy going by the name of John Carmack from ID software and he told the magazine what the official requirements for the game are going to be. Read more to find out requirements.

System Requirements for DOOM 3: A video card with at least 128MB RAM and Pixel Shader 1.1 support and a 2.5GHz CPU. Also DOOM 3 is expected to be on 4 cds and Multiplayer will include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Tournament and Last Man Standing. "

its a little crazy no?
i mean i saw the monsters in the screenshot, and i still dont believe they are 3d, but maybe thats explaining it.

probably u cant even anti-alias this game

Id posted a statement saying that info was based on an imaginary interview that never took place, obviously, and they`re pretty pissed about it. Don`t take it serious please ( i can`t find the link, i saw it on Blues a few days ago).

why would i take personally you bastard???muhahaha

anyway, games like KOTOR and deus ex 2 always show us there isn't enough hell machine on this planet to run those kind of games at max config.

maybe such games as these are a devious plot of the computer games industry and the graphic cards industry to make people buy the most expensive hardware.

actually, its not that funny.....

wait!!!its real!!!!! :x  :x  :x

if someone has a link to that mysterious deal...?

Uhhh...they run beyond beautifully on my rig with EVERYTHING maxed out.

the minimum cost of radeon 9800xt in our counbtry is 800$ which is almost the cost of a computer, the cost of radeon 9600 pro is 250$ which is what i bought.
i need to know what rig you have too, because i heard from some forums that KOTOR couldn't run on crazy machines..

my low end-high end machine:
2ghz intel
512 ddr400 dual channel
128mb radeon 9600 pro
etc...

(btw on unreal 2004-why isn't there antialiasing?)

unbelievable grafix, i've never seen such 3d-well only in movies, never in a game.

the game itself is also very horrific, jumps on you on every dark corner...
wooooooo, and the monsters, the monsters...argh, unbelievable..the things you see in the screenshots actually move and have 3d lightning on them, its really a piece of work what they did there...its really heavy on my machine, but i suppose maybe more ram would do it...i hope...its just when you see those grafix you won't settle for anything less..ahhhh<injects another dose of doom3>
