DOOM the Movie

And a chainsaw! Course the trailer shows some wierd first person perspective shots, I am undecided on if that is cool or annoying yet.

An action movie, and made from an incredibly boring first person shooter! LOLOLOLZOMG!!1

*yawn*

Heh, I saw a commercial for that last night at 1 AM while watching chapelle show

They even have a PINKY DEMON!

Weird, so did I.

Was that the eposide with Wayne Brady?

The movie looks like your standard horror/shoot-em up, so I'm probably not going to see it. I was stung too bad by Final Fantasy to even consider going to another game movie for a long, long time.

What are you talking about? The ending rocked!

BTW, The third one is in the making. My God, Jill Valentine is frickin' hawt!

It was an interesting ending, but it was way different from what the characters in the game would have done.

If the third one is pure RECVX then it may be awesome.

Was Apocalypse ever a bad movie....

"Let's take this short-cut through a graveyard!"
"Why?"
"Well, we can have this cool fight scene with zombies climbing up out of the ground."

I really have a hard time drumming up any enthusiasm for the Doom movie. Especially since the trailer doesn't make it look very good. Now, Serenity on the other hand... but, of course, that's not a game conversion.

Perhaps one day we will be graced with a good movie based of a video game. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay proved the reverse was true.

This movie is going to be sweet. It certainly won't be Oscar-caliber, but I'm sure it'll be a fun way to spend eight bucks and two hours.

The movie is doomed (pardon the pun) to fail. C'mon! The friggin guy who made House of the Dead directed it!

Eh? Uwe Boll didn't get his hands on this one, thank the lord. It has a fighting chance now.

no shit. My bad. I bet it still sucks...

But hopefully it won't hit Boll-like levels of suck, merely Resident Evil 2 levels of suck.

Which would be bad, but it in a relatively good way.

Went to the Movies tonight and I saw the premiere of DOOM. I was not in awe by it but is was worth seeing for $6.75. I would recommend that if you think it follows any of the games you are mistaken. I will not give away anymore info on it.

P.S. Give it a week before you start giving away info on the movie

"BIG FUCKING GUN" [Sarge]
