DOS favorites?

I have played only a few games on DOS. Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiago (in a million iterations, I swear), and I guess that's all I remember. A couple adventure games too maybe.

<3 Carmen Sandiago.

I play Beneath A Steel Sky a good amount but I don't play it on DOS for real DOS.

Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender - Such an awesome classic. If you haven't played it, find some way to obtain it. In fact, I may eBay it. I haven't played it in like 7 years, too long for such an awesomeness classic.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - If this we're indy 4 instead of Crystal Skull crap.

Raptor: Call of Shadows, Secret Agent, Dark Ages, Four Crystals of Trazere, Zeliard, The Summoning, Commander Keen, King's Bounty, Operation Wolf, Operation Overkill, The Pit, Usurper, Battletech: The Crescent Hawks' Revenge, Prince of Persia, Dig Dug.

I could probably come up with more, lol.

Too many to list. I think most of my favorite games are on DOS. Just thinking about it makes me painfully nostalgic.

Oh yeez, one of these threads, it always fills me with nostalgia and the wish to visit that time once more to experience the feeling of excitement I felt at the time.

Here are a couple of games, probably not all of them.

Wing Commander 1 and 2
Wing Commander Privateer
Wing Commander 3 (it was a DOS game right?)
Strike Commander
Bad Blood
Star Trek the 25th Anniversary
Star Trek Judgement Rites
The Secret of Monkey Island 1 and 2
Day of the Tentacle
Sam and Max hit the road
Doom 1 and 2
Wolvenstein 3D
Beneath a Steel Sky
Sim City (I liked it)
D/Generation
Ringworld: Revenge of the Patriarch
Return to Ringworld
Blackhawk

I wish I could have experienced the Ultima games (especially Ultima 7), Wasteland, and Star Control 2 when they had been just released.

PUNISHER! I still have it on a 5&1/4 floppy right here on my desk! ...Thats gotta be worth something now no?

This cute little crazy golf game set in space. One of the first PC games I played on my uncles computer. Very nostalgic.

Not played many DOS games, mostly because I never knew what to type in, though using dos prompt is incredibaly nostalgic.

Humorously, i as a kid had a old computer that used dos. I really didnt know how to use it . And it would overheat in 1 hour and shutdown.
I still miss the old hunk of junk.

I have many dos favourites, like beneath the steel sky, which is one of my favorite adventure games.

your parents sabotaged it so you wouldn't become totally addicted to computer games, but horribly failed. :(

Jeez... Doom 1 & 2, Mortal Kombats, old Lucasarts adventures, shareware games I'd play over and over again...

Truly golden times.

Space Quest, Doom, X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Falcon 3.0, X-Com, Dune II, Day of the Tentacle, ...

Too many.
