Please everyone check this out!!! If you like fallout you will really get into this!!!

Come on Arthur, he's just telling other people about a pen and paper RPG in a post-apocalytic world. Now that might not interest you, but I bet there are people here that are interested. Ok, so technically it's an ad, but I wouldn't call it spam.

Well... I think copying and pasting exactly what you want to say from another place is more productive than wasting your time writting what is 100 times better written in the home page of DE.

If he'd just say: "Hey guys, visit www.deadearth.com, they got a cool post-nuclear pen and paper RPG site there, definitelly worth looking into!", I'd understand he's a friendly fella who wants to help. But he made an impression (on me) as a freeloader who advertised his site. It's about impression, not about content of deadearth.com

Isn't deadearth an animated movie? I went yesterday to a cinema and I saw a sign announcing it (if I'm not mistaking)...

Actually, I looked at thier site out of curiosity, and read that they are awarded "karma" for doing stuff like this. They have to have a certain amount of karma to do certain things in the game. So basically, the company that runs deadEarth is sort of making them advertise for them. Interesting system, don't you think?
 
Your taking the message the wrong way

You know, sorry for trying to show you guys a cool new game. Take it how you will but I am enjoying deadearth as much as I do fallout. The possibilities are endless. There is even someone that is new to deadearth that says they have a conversion for fallout characters into a deadearth character. And no we don't get kharma for doing shit like this. I posted because I thought someone might care.

I'm sorry if we didn't like your game, but you post a message, you're going to get honest opinions.

I think it's a rip off of Fallout. It seems they plagerized the whole plot.
 
But it's not

If you were to check into it you would know that the game was created a while ago. So I would not call it a rip off. Just because they are using the same post apocalyptic future setting doesn't make it a rip off. That would make gamma world a rip off also but that was created in the early '80s. So would that mean that fallout is a rip off of Gamma World. Do you see where I'm going with this? I won't take up any more of your time. Thanks to all.

Don't take this seriously, Fyth. The truth is, most people are morons. You were just lucky to get some to respond to your thread.

Just because you like Fallout-like universe doesn't mean that you plagiarize it, and even if it does, screw those who don't understand why.
