We almost completely forgot about Exodus P&P, formerly Fallout P&P until they got in trouble with Bethesda over the rights (apparently not properly signed over by Interplay). The news is that they found a printer and right now copies of "Exodus Survivor's Guide" are being printed. They're offering a few necessary components for free, too.
Our printer has contacted us, and we will have the Exodus Survivor's Guide on hand Friday and in stock at this time. All of the Ebay orders will be shipped on Monday Jan 21.

I'd be hard pressed to spend 32.95 + 5.50 Shipping and Handling for a book that doesn't indicate how many pages, # of color pages, hard or soft cover, etc...

Granted I've never heard of this before today, but as someone that hasn't ever heard of it, I'm not feeling like I'd be comfortable spending $40 on a single book with knowing what was actually inside.

It's crappy, even if you forget about it having on par with FOBOS as far as raping the Fallout license goes when it was still based on Fallout. Don't buy it.

Wow.... well, now that Ausir's given it his seal of disapproval, I'm going to skip this one. Sad, since it looked sorta interesting.... granted I didn't look too much into it, but I give a lot of weight to Ausir's feelings on these things.

If I remember correctly,* it's based on the D20 system. Those that disliked it (including myself) primarily disliked it because, well, D20 sucks. Especially since Fallout was inspired by GURPS (well, I think it was GURPS; either that, or one of the other PNP systems that didn't stroke the munchkins in just the right way).

So if you're a fan of D20, a munchkin, or both, then you might like it. I'll pass, though.

*I'm not 100% on any of this information; if you know otherwise, then please correct me.

It being d20-based is the least of its problems. It's simply badly written. If you're a fan of d20, there are many post-apoc d20 settings that are much better, like Gamma World.

Are there any real examples and proof of it being badly written?

I see the negativity in this thread and I just have to ask... why?

The bits we've seen all had mediocre and inconsistent writing. One can assume the rest has too.

Or not, 's up to you. If someone wants to give it a go, go for it!
