First time out of the vault

• High replayability - dynamic endings reflect decisions you've made throughout the story, how much gold you bring with you back to Spain, and how many expedition members you've lost (or gained!) along the way.
• Detailed and tactical combat - make use of flanking, traps & barricades, attacks of opportunity, interrupts, cover & concealment, character abilities, and more.
• Character management - unlock special abilities by promoting your expedition members, assign equipment to your troops, and treat injured or sick characters with a triage system.

I think we need a generic "Cool Kickstarter Stuff" thread.

I love this idea. Give rcorporon a medal or something. It would cut down on the dozen or so Kickstarter threads.

The game isn't truly isometric, as the camera is not orthographic, but sure it takes its inspiration from isometric games :)

I'm happy to see this game mentioned on NMA and I hope you guys will give it a shot, even though it's not set in a post-apoc world :)

Really liking what I see (even though I still would prefer 2d tiles and maps + sprites :P ) - it still all has some kind of "oldschool" feel for it. I wish I wouldn't be broke right now, else I would have given my gold to you. :/

I like the very subtle and not "IN UR FAEC!!11" music aswell, good job to the composer!

Well there's some time still. We're releasing the game on February 28th, so keep an eye out. We'll be on GOG and Desura.

The composer's name is Leo Badinella and he's done an amazing job for the game. I personally value soundtracks in games very high, and I'm very happy with the music we have in Conquistador, it definitely helps set the mood :)
