Fake-ass phonies.

So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
I'm in Ethics class today and our instructor asks us if we adhere to an egoist method of ethics. Of course, I was the only one in the class who raised my hand.

Bull-fucking shit. 17 out of 25 people voted to sell our pretend company to a corporate raider and none of them are looking out for #1?

What the fuck ever.

What kind of phonies have you had to deal with?

Sometimes you have to deal with straight people who pretend to be ghei.

Or the other way around.

Brady, what the fuck are you talking about?

You know how people put up a front and pretend to be something that they're not? Nobody in my class claimed that they were egoists because they didn't want to give the impression that they were selfish assholes, when in fact they are. This was practically proven when 2/3 of the class voted to sell out a pretend company for a quick payoff.

Phonies.

Why would that be selfish? What if the person buying it would be in great need of a company, in order to survive?
Have you ever thought of that?

Ah-hah, but by acting in such a hypocritical way, they proved their ethics are the apotheosis of selfishness.

Torr get it.

That's just it, we knew it wasn't the case. The fellow offering to buy out the company was a corporate raider that claimed our industry was dying and that the only way to get out of it would be to sell what little stock we had left at a slightly higher price which he was offering.

It would've been obvious to anyone that he would've just sold off the company to a higher bidder looking for our land rights, but they didn't care. They chose to take the money and run.

Back in high school I regarded Ethics as a super-easy A and nothing more. Anybody who actually took debates in that class seriously was in 99.99% cases a pretentious moron.

Heh. I'm not going to ramble about how Egoism is the only motivation people have and how Altruism is entirely fictional, because I get what you are trying to say.

Yeah, sadly the majority of people are dishonest. Tru dat.
Especially when they claim to be something they are not just not to be different.

I wasn't exactly jumping for joy at taking an Ethics class. The President, however, came up with the brilliant idea of requiring it before we can get our degrees.

I suppose it makes sense, since ethics is a big issue in business, and a good number of our graduates are business majors.

Its still bullshit, though.

Along the same line, people, of either sex, who claim to be bisexual just to seem cool extremely piss me off. There is a seperate set of classes at my old school... Kind of hard to describe. It is called School Within a School, for students who have a problem with normal classes for whatever reason. Not stupid or anything, just different. Personally, I think it's bullshit and just a reason to let them hang out when they should be working and fuck off.

Anyway, quite a few of them seemed to be bisexual for no other reason than being cool and it always annoyed the piss out of me. I was in a couple of the SWS classes due to scheduling and I didn't mind really since quite a lof of the SWS kids were intelligent but... That other part...

Note, I have no problem with homsexuals or anything. Just people who are fake. - Colt

Well, obviously the best question to ask someone who claims to be bisexual is whether they've smoked dick or licked carpet.

The more honest ones will say, "Well, no, not really." The ones that are full of it, however, will claim that they have.

The best reaction to this is to ask them who they've had relations with from the same sex. If they react disgustedly and refuse to tell, then they're full of shit and you should call them on it. If they don't have a negative or positive reaction, then hey, I guess they might be telling the truth. So you can't call their bullshit without looking like you're jumping the gun.

If, however, they do give a name, you can ask them "what school do they go to?" If they give you the name of any school other than this one, you can call their bullshit.

Generally they'll have no defense.

Oh Lord...

Ethics like anything sacred can only be made and believed in by individuals. All bringing groups of people together to talk about that is only to either coerce people into your beliefs or start killing each other.

By the way... | Business + Ethics = Affront to God |

I know this 'ill cause a flame fest. I cant help it though.
