Fallout 1-2 off of Steam: Mods?

I seem to have misplaced my Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 copies and until I find them I need something to hold me over...

You guessed it, ten dollars isn't that much for such a great game so I've just got to ask. Is the Steam version of Fallout 1 and 2 compatible with mods?

P.S.: I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this topic, I'm new please excuse my ignorance if this is the case.

By mods, u mean the restoration project? Because yeah.

I bought the fallout trilogy for steam and i can run it just fine.
(although i usually don't because i like things being 'vanilla')

The RP completes things that were supposed to be in the game anyway...It's more vanilla then it is a "mod"
