Fallout 1/2 Screen Resolution Patch

Is there one? I think this is one of the most best tweaks and fixes to be done for the old fallout games. By the looks of the game though it looks like you might have to add pixel interpolation or just have the environment scale to the monitor. So your field of view will just increase instead of it actually scaling the pixels. But if you were to scale the window method with interpolation it at least wouldn't look blocky.

Increasing the view is impossible with FO as it will produce a load of bugs. Timeslip made some nice work with fallout, by making it run in a window with possibly some filters applied making the game look very neat (but very blurry for me :) ).
Oh, and btw. it was Timeslip who said its impossible :)

There is the fallout2.exe patcher, which allows for higher resolutions, but I believe it's fairly buggy (you can download it from our files).

That's the only serious attempt at it so far. It is pretty hard to do in the game's engine, and I don't think it's been done for Fallout.

Windowed mode is best.

Well nothings impossible to do. No one has just given it the effort.
I can only say what Timeslip said, without the source code its impossible without producing a huge (and mostly unfixable) amount of bugs.

Thanks guys, Do you guys edit with hex editors or do you have user made editors for creating patches?
