Fallout 1: Bust the Skulz

Okay, some simple technical information: Speech is at 99%, CH at 3, rest of my stats are 10 except EN at 6 (which doesn't matter for dialog but whatever).

I want to solve this quest peacefully, but Sherry won't give me the right dialogue. I can convince her to leave the Skulz and a day later she'll do that, and I an talk to her for free food. However, I don't seem to be able to bring up the dialogue option for her to testify against them. I've tried doing this before the bar fight, after the bar fight, after agreeing to steal the urn, and after turning the urn in. She just doesn't seem to want to give me the option to testify - is this a Charisma check and if so where/when is it made?

*facepalm* *headdesk* Okay, you may officially change my title from 'lowly new user' to 'noob'.

It didn't explicitly say it anywhere in any Fallout 1 guide, in my defense, but to get said option you have to speak to Lars first and ask for work, where he says he needs info on the Skulz.
