Fallout 1 Fixt mod

I'm assuming it has both res hacks fo1 and fo2? or is it just one res hack that does both?
Just from Fo1. I haven't yet released FIXT using the Fallout 2 engine.

Thanks for the work, it is really nice to be able to play FO1 again with out the crashes. Everything has been seamless so far and I love the option to have critters drop weapons 1 to 2 hex's away from body.

When do you think FO2 mod may be done? That has way too many bugs and if some of the disabled threads were reactivated it would make for a very interesting replay.

Is there a need for a similar mod for FO2? There's already the Restoration Project, I think it's pretty damn comprehensive.

When he says "Fallout 2" he actually means the engine. His next project will be to port FO1 to FO2 which would be amazing given the superiority of the platform.

Ah yes, I forgot about that.

I still think most if not all the credit on this should go to Jordan.

fallout 2 has the same problems at fo1 with out a res patch. I'm assuming he means he will/might make a FIXT version for FO2 as well.

Alpha 5.3 released.

I normally wouldn't post that in a thread like this, but I know people were complaining about all the errors during install for 64-bit users. (Sorry about those). This release fixes that.

Started a Fallout 1 playthrough with 5.3, enjoying it so far. Not doing a bug report only because the stuff I'd report has already been filed in (the "Error" merchant and some weird lighting bugs), but besides that and maybe eventually giving more canon/non-canon options for the installer, I'd say you're on the right track.

Good job!
